The Structure of IB MYP French
IB MYP French Language Acquisition follows the official MYP curriculum framework and aligns with the IB Language Acquisition subject guide. The course focuses on developing students’ sense of identity, community responsibility, and global engagement.
MYP Language Phases
Students are placed in one of the six MYP language acquisition phases, based on prior experience and proficiency — ranging from emergent to proficient. Each phase is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and has clearly defined objectives and assessment criteria.
