Structure of AS & A Level Mathematics
Students may choose to take AS Level only or complete both AS and A Level together. All assessments are conducted at the end of the course, and exam questions may cover the full syllabus.
AS Level Mathematics
Students must choose two papers from the following four:
- P1 – Pure Mathematics 1 (Compulsory)
- P2 – Pure Mathematics 2
- M1 – Mechanics 1
- S1 – Statistics 1
A Level Mathematics
Students must choose four papers in total. Two are compulsory:
- P1 – Pure Mathematics 1
- P3 – Pure Mathematics 3
For the remaining two papers, students may select one of the following combinations:
- M1 (Mechanics 1) & M2 (Mechanics 2)
- S1 (Statistics 1) & S2 (Statistics 2)
- M1 & S1
